Pinangalanan na kagabi ang mga nanalo sa 2019 Metro Manila Film Festival na ginanap sa New Frontier Theater, Quezon City.
Nakakuha ang “Mindanao” starring Judy Ann Santos ng 11 parangal na sinundan naman ng “Write about love” na mayroong 7 at 3 naman para sa pelikulang “Sunod” ni Carmina Villaroel.
Samantala, bigo namang makapag-uwi ang comedy films na The Mall the Merrier nina Vice Ganda at Anne Curtis, pati na rin ang Mission Unstapabol: The Don Idenitity ni Vic Sotto, Maine Mendoza, at Tripol Dobol: Huli ka Balbon ni Coco Martin at Ai-Ai Delas Alas.
Bigo rin makapag-uwi ng awards ang Culion nina Iza Calzado, Meryll Soriano at Jasmine Curtis, at Ang Miracle in cell no. 7 ni Aga Mulach.
Ngunit, swerte pa rin si Aga Mulach dahil sya ay tinanghal na Lucky Star of the Night sa Gabi ng Parangal
