Filipino singer Marcelito Pomoy wowed all four judges of America’s Got Talent: The Champions with his qualifying rounds performance in January 14.
Pomoy leads the newest America’s Got Talent (AGT) season with a surprise as he presents his iconic version of “The Prayer.” This performance leaves the AGT judges in awe as he sings both lines of Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli in the song.
“That was so unique. You are a wonderful beautifully singer with a young woman trapped inside of you,” AGT judge and comedian Howie Mandel said as he adored the Filipino performer.
Pomoy’s performance was also described as one worthy of hitting the golden buzzer as it showed something different and unique for the judges to see.
Judge Simon Cowell also complimented Pomoy by saying, “That was what I call a 10, a simple as that.”
America’sGot Talent: The Champions is a season that gathers the world’s most talented, memorable acts from past seasons of AGT and the other Got Talent franchises around the world to compete for the title of being the world’s best of the best.
The former winner of Pilipinas Got Talent entered the show together with wife Joan supporting him in the sidelines and went straight to the semis with the help of AGT’s superfans.
He will now be competing against all participants from all over the world to bring home the title of winning AGT’s newest season.
