US Senate bill seeks to ban PH officials involved in De Lima detention|INQUIRER.NET – US Senator Richard Durbin welcomed the approval of the amendment that he proposed with Senator Pateick Leihy to the Senate Appropriations Committee that will prohibit entry to the US by any Philippine Government Official “involved in the politically motivated imprisonment of Filipina Senator Leila de Lima”.

762 policemen on drug list|The Manila Times – The Philippine National Police submitted to President Duterte a list containing the names of 762 policemen suspected to be involved in illegal drugs. Albayalde said that it would be up to the President whether he will disclose the names of those in the list.
Army seizes NPA camp in Leyte|SunStar Tacloban – Army elements from the 78th Infantry Battalion seized an NPA camp in Mahaplag, Leyte on September 27, 2019. There was no casualty on the government while undetermined from the NPA side. The government troops recovered the following: one M16A1 rifle, 130 rounds of live ammunition (5.56), three long magazines for M16, four short magazines for M16, one improvised explosive device, one cellular phone, one handheld radio (Baofeng), medical paraphernalia, and documents with high intelligence value.
Soldier killed in Mountain Province encounter|SunStar Baguio – One Army soldier died and another was wounded in an encounter with NPA at Barangay Aguid, Sagada, Mt Province. It was reported Philippine Army and PNP responded to the report that NPA elements were in the said area.
