SC upholds nurses’ right to P30,000 pay| INQUIRER.NET – The Supreme Court has ruled that government nurses are entitled by law to a minimum monthly salary of up to P30,531, but in the same vein says it cannot compel Congress to implement the salary prescribed by the Philippine Nursing Act of 2002. In a statement, the tribunal said the justices decided during its full-court session on Tuesday in favor of the petition by Ang Nars party list represented by Rep. Leah Samaco-Paquiz.
