Filipino basketball legend Jimmy Alapag turns a new chapter in his coaching career. He joins the National Basketball Association (NBA) G League as an assistant coach of the G League club Stockton Kings.
The PBA icon, now 43, helped the Sacramento Kings seized their NBA Summer League championship earlier this month as a member of the coaching staff.
“Words can’t express how thankful I am for this opportunity to join the Stockton Kings for the upcoming NBA G League season. Looking forward to connecting with the entire Stockton community. Time to get to work,” says Alapag.
