Acne is the most common problem of teenagers or even in those early to mid-20. But have you ever heard that salt water can cure acne? Well, that is just one of the many benefits of salt water and there are still countless benefits.

Salt water rejuvenates and repairs the appearance of the skin, scalp, and hair.

Here are some of the other benefits of salt water:

Seawater sucks up toxins out of your skin. It also has healing materials such as potassium, magnesium, and calcium thus regularly washing with it treats skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema, and excessive dryness.

If you have spent thousands of pesos for moisturizers, face washes, and other skin treatment products, say no more because it turns out that this salt water can get rid of acne as it naturally absorbs bacteria in your skin. Salt water can shrink pores and remove oil from your skin just like any other toner. The good thing is salt water does not cost much. To use it, just pour pure salt water into a spray bottle. Apply salt water in your face every time you wash your face and before you apply any make up.

Can be used as Exfoliant

Salt can sloughs off dead skin cells. It can also brighten, tighten, soften, and rejuvenate your skin so it is considered an excellent natural exfoliant.  To make one for yourself, just mix pure salt with a small amount of water to form a damp, solid paste. Add a few drops of any scented essentials oil to this paste. Massage your skin and use it for a few minutes.

To sum it up, salt water is much easier and cheaper to obtain than any creams and treatments that can exactly do the same to your hair, scalp, and skin.  Adding and replacing this to your daily beauty products can lessen your expenses.
