Extension of Voters Registration

COMELEC has approved the extension of voters’ registration from October 9 to 31, 2021, according to its Chairman, Sheriff Abas during his interview in CNN Philippines.
Abas said that there would be no voter registration during the filing of the certificate of candidacy that is October 1 – 8, 2021.
COMELEC has initially set the deadline for voter registration last September 30 but several groups, lawmakers, organizations including Vice President Leni Robredo had appealed for an extension.
