SC allows release of initial recount result on Marcos poll protest | INQUIRER.NETThe Supreme Court sitting as Presidential Election Tribunal (PET) voted 13 to 2. 13 justices voted to release, to both parties, the results of the committee report on the result of revision of ballots from three pilot provinces chosen by former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos in his election protest against Vice President Leni Robredo. The 2 dissenting justices were Senior Associate Justice Antonio Carpio and Associate Justice Alfredo Benjamin Caguioa.

Robredo hits Marcos: Between the two of us, I’m not a robber | Philippine StarVice President Leni Robredo reacted to the statement of Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos that he has been robbed of the vice presidency. In a televised press statement Robredo said “Between the two of us, parang hindi yata ako ang may ugaling mag-rob. Between the two of us, lahat ng na-achieve ko pinagpaguran ko. Wala akong fake diplomas, wala akong anything. Hindi ako naglalabas ng fake news. Parang dapat… hindi niya kaya iyon sabihin kasi between the two of us, alam ko hindi ako iyong robber.”

So, if there is evidence against any wrongdoing then it behooves the government to file and prosecute”. This was a reaction to Senator Gordon’s comment that “it would be a national disappointment if the Duterte administration would choose not to file administrative and criminal charges against Albayalde and other erring police officers over the alleged drug recycling activities.”
