Robredo vows to stop killings in drug war | INQUIRER.NETVice President Leni Robredo on Thursday said that as the new leader of the government’s campaign against narcotics, “I have no plans to have anybody killed since that is outside the bounds of the rule of law,” but she will pursue with the same vigor the crackdown against illegal drugs.

In a televised interview after their meeting, Robredo said, “I am all for a strong national policy against illegal drugs and I am all for a vigorous anti-drugs campaign.” She further said, “We should also look at it not just using the lens of crimes or criminal justice but also using the lens of health and the fact that addiction is a medical and a sociological problem.”

The letter to Bahari dated November 6 and sent by the DOJ’s Refugees and Stateless Persons Protection Unit (RPPSU) reads as “You are hereby informed that you are recognized as a refugee under the 1951 Convention Relating to the Status of Refugees and its 1967 Protocol in a decision dated 06 November 2019.”
