COVID-19 cases in Philippines surge to 2,084 with biggest daily rise | PHILSTAR.COMThe Philippines reported 538 new cases of the novel coronavirus on Tuesday, its biggest one-day leap yet since the outbreak, as the Department of Health ramps up its testing efforts. From 1,546 infections the day before, the additional cases brought the national total to 2,084. DOH also said there are 10 additional fatalities, raising the death toll to 88.
