“Plant mom” Aubrey Miles has over 100 plants as collection

Netizens are calling Aubrey Miles as certified “plantita” but she prefers calling herself as plant mom for she consider her plants as children.

Aubrey and husband Troy Montero has been collecting plants for 11 years and in an interview with the Summit Media, Aubrey admitted that she bought her most expensive plant for Php 300,000 and some others are worth Php 150,000 and Php 100,000.

“Oh my God, the most expensive one is the… Nakakahiyang sabihin. You know sometimes when they ask me, parang I feel like they think I’m crazy or insane to pay that much. Probably the most is P300,000. Yes, it’s crazy. Then some are like P100,000, P150,000,” she said.

Even with a great number of plant collection, Aubrey says she wants to collect more.

“Pagka talagang plant lover ka, you want a lot. Never ending,” Aubrey shared.

The actress starts loving plants when she was a kid and insisted that there’s no such thing as green or black thumb as long as you have the discipline and passion for it.

“And then eventually, dahil nasanay na ako na puro greens ‘yung nakikita ko, that’s why siguro I like plants,” Aubrey stated.

“Sabi nila, ‘O ‘pag black thumb ka mag-succulents ka,’ pero I don’t believe in that,” she said. “Basta sa akin if you have that practice, discipline, and you really like it, you do want to do it, I think you can do it.” she added.
