My friend saw an Ad in Facebook regarding SALE. Dahil feeling nya mura talaga ang item na gustong-gusto nya, I got a message saying, “tingnan mo ang site na to, ang mura ng air fryer.”
I immediately checked the post and said, “hoy, check mo ng maigi at huwag kang bibili agad.”
The Ad on Facebook was really enticing, Php2,999 for an Air Fryer with Free Coffee Grinder. Wow, di ba?! I reminded my friend that don’t buy unless you get the brand details, warranty and other important details. Check mo din ang review. Mahirap na sa dami ng bogus ngayon.
Since my friend was online, she got the details from the online seller – Brand Name is Kyowa, Warranty is 6 months. Also, she said na as agreed with the seller, if hindi Kyowa ang brand at walang warranty booklet, puwede na hindi tanggapin from the courier.
The delivery day came and hola, everything that were agreed upon, didn’t happen.
Upon arrival at the place, the delivery guy from J&T Express said, ‘I only need your payment and alis na po ako’. My friend said, ‘teka mayroon kaming usapan ng online seller na iche-check muna at hindi kukunin kung hindi ayon sa napagkasunduan’. Again, the deliveryman said, “ang kailangan ko lang ay payment at hindi po pupuwede na hindi nyo kukunin. Wala po akong alam sa sinasabi nyo.” Looks like he is aware of the concern but chose to ignore it.
That time, my friend had mixed emotions, pity to the delivey guy with a little disappointment because of how he acted and anger towards the online seller. Thus, she just said, “sige bayaran ko to and tawagan ko na lang ang online seller. Me resibo or document ba to?” The delivery guy said, ‘wala po’. Kung ano po ang nakalagay sa box, yan lang po.
The wrapped box showed that brand was not Kyowa. When she opened the box up to the last piece, there was no warranty card, no receipt that can be used as a proof for repair in case something will happen to the item.
My friend chatted again with the Online Shop, Mini Shop PH ang pangalan sa Facebook, starting again from their old thread hoping na magkausap sila. And yes, your guess is as good as mine, they didn’t answer back. She tried calling the numbers indicated in Facebook and even in the delivery note from J&T Express and both were unreachable, and the message was, “the number cannot be completed when dialed, check the number and dial again.” By the way, ang shop name sa delivery note ay ISHOP and address is Angeles, Pampanga, kaiba sa nakalagay sa Facebook.
Binalikan ng friend ko ang Facebook page ng Mini Shop PH kung saan nya nakita ang SALE at nag-comment nya sa item na it’s a scam. After a day, I have personally checked my friend’s comment sa page ulit ng Facebook and deleted na to.
Mag-ingat po tayong lahat sa pagbili sa online sellers. Sa mga sellers, be truthful and sa mga buyers, be careful ten times.
Online Practical Shopping Tips:
4. Kung me cellphone or telephone number na nakalagay sa social media site, subukan tawagan para masegurado na gumagana at hindi fake. Huwag kayong bibili sa mga online sellers na nagsasabing “no calls or text message are allowed.”
